THE first new models Mitsubishi will bring to the UK market in 2026 will be the L200 Series 7 Double Cab pickup and all-new Outlander SUV.

It follows last month’s surprise announcement that Mitsubishi was to re-enter the UK market next summer after five years with no new model introductions.

The Double Cab L200 Series 7 model is powered by an extensively reengineered 2.4-litre two-stage bi-turbo diesel engine. Its Super Select 4WD-II system offers a choice of two- and four-wheel drive, along with centre differential locked full-time four-wheel drive and low gear centre differential locked four-wheel drive.

Outlander

The all-new Outlander PHEV is powered by an enhanced 2.4-litre petrol engine with a traction battery powering front and rear electric motors, with a claimed driving range of over 500 miles. For the first time in the UK market, a seven-seat version of the Outlander will be available.

UK launch dates, prices and vehicle specifications will be made available closer to launch in 2026.

Sharon Townsend, Head of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, said: “While the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and the Mitsubishi L200 are familiar, much-loved, and respected names in the UK, we will be introducing the very latest models, which feature significant design, technology, and performance upgrades over their predecessors.”
