CHANGAN has confirmed that Molly Kelly will be the Chinese OEM’s Head of Fleet. Last week we announced that Molly had been made Interim Head of Fleet, but in the last seven days the move has been ratified permanently.
Molly will replace Richard Chamberlain who set up the brand’s fleet function.
In her new role, Molly will lead Changan UK’s fleet strategy, overseeing relationships with leasing companies, broker partnerships and corporate customers, while supporting the growth of the company’s fleet and business sales operations as new models join the UK line-up.
Molly joined Changan UK earlier this year as Fleet Manager, where she played a key role in introducing the brand to leasing companies, brokers and major fleet stakeholders across the country. Alongside developing new commercial relationships, she helped establish the systems and processes needed to support Changan’s long -term fleet ambitions.

Molly began her automotive career at ROI Automotive before moving to Polestar and then Fleet Procure before her latest role at Changan.

Changan entered the UK market with the launch of the Deepal S07 in September 2025 , a mid-size electric SUV, and plans to introduce multiple new models as part of a broader expansion strategy. Currently it has registered fewer than 2,000 cars, but plug-in hybrid models of its current two EV cars are projected to increase this volume.
