FLEET provider National Fleet Services and its personal leasing arm Express Car Leasing have merged to create a single entity: Express Vehicle Contracts.
The Midlands-based brokerage says the brand merger will provide simplification, enhance efficiency and improve customer outcomes, providing customers with a one-stop shop, whether business or personal.
"It's about modernising, it's about efficiencies and about giving the right products to the right person. We were suffering from two mindsets, two ways of doing things and not enough efficiencies. The single brand keeps it simple and is a better way of doing business."
Chris said it now means the brokerage can deal with very large fleets as well as the sole trader and the man in the street. “It just makes sense to offer a brand that everyone can understand,” Chris added.
“The key thing is the customer. It doesn’t matter whether they are looking for a personal deal or a business vehicle, our one brand – Express Vehicle Contracts – can be the go-to destination.
“We’ve done well on our audits from the BVRLA and tried very hard to look after customers. The more nailed down you are as a business the easier it is.”
Among the modernisations to systems for the newly merged brand is a new CRM built by the business to reflects the company’s requirements and to meet the demands of the FCA. “Everything is much quicker, simpler and easier now,” added Chris.
