CARWOW has expanded its UK senior leadership team, as the leasing broker marketing aggregator moves into a new phase of growth with the expansion of its services to retailers and OEMs.

Grace Pluvinage (pictured) has been appointed as carwow’s new car general manager, with the aim of growing new, used, and leasing businesses in the UK.

Due to work across carwow’s platform, which includes a position as a new and used car online marketplace, Grace joins the company with a focus on driving value for both partners and customers in a rapidly changing marketplace. She moves over having lead global customer strategy at online luxury online fashion platform Farfetch.

Other new appointments include:

  • Sepi Arani – UK commercial director
  • Ajit Sathianathan – director of data and analysis
  • Megan Sinclair – brand and communications director

Sepi has stepped up from his position of carwow’s head of OEM, a role he has held since 2019, having previously been with the Volkswagen Group and hiyacar.

Ajit joins carwow having worked in senior data analysis roles in the travel industry, including Expedia and Hotels.com, while Megan joins in a new role for carwow, responsible for brand advertising, public relations, creative, and events. She has previously worked at Microsoft, and has already played a role in the launch of carwow’s first TV advertising campaign.

carwow is embarking on one of its most exciting and ambitious phases of growth, so having the right team in place is vital.

These new appointments are crucial for our efforts to better support dealers and OEMs as they adapt to omni-channel sales and accelerate the shift towards vehicle electrification.

The skills and experience of Sepi, Ajit, Meghan and Grace will prove invaluable as we help trade customers harness new approaches to vehicle sales and ownership.

James Hind, CEO at carwow
