THE digital and creative agency FIRE5 digital has launched a new fleet management portal available through its Automotus website offering.
The new fleet management portal, named Fleet+, provides leasing brokers the opportunity to increase revenue, improve customer retention and enhance sales potential by efficiently managing client fleets and integrating OEM telematics data.
The portal, which is part of the Automotus web and CRM platform, can be white labelled to broker clients.
The fleet portal is integrated into the Automotus CRM which takes care of the full vehicle contract life cycle.
Users can access a real-time fleet overview dashboard showing fuel types, mileage, and service needs, vehicle alerts for issues like low tyre pressures or oil levels, and access to contract data.
Additionally, DVLA integrations provide access to MOT data and automated licence checks as well as other features such as in built vehicle inspection checklists for drivers, driver history and PCN management provide a full suite of tools to manage fleet data.
A key feature is that the real-time data on each car in the portal is provided by the integration of OEM telematics, accessible via VIN numbers for vehicles typically newer than 2018. This avoids the inconvenience and installation costs of having to take the car off the road to have a telematics device fitted. This also mitigates any warranty issues that can arise with 3rd party devices.
The portal has been almost a year in development, says Frankie Healy, Managing Director of FIRE5 digital and that the team has brokers ready for immediate implementation. The system is designed for ease of use, with self-explanatory features but Autonomous will provide aftersales support.
“The portal provides brokers with several advantages, including increased revenue through a recurring revenue stream, improved customer retention due to added value and service, and enhanced visibility into customer contracts to maximise sales and renewal potential.”
Frankie Healy, Managing Director, FIRE5 digital Tweet
As brokers expand into fleet management services, selling in the portal offers a stronger return and increased customer commitment, Healy says. “It should appeal to SMEs where there may be no dedicated fleet manager role. The system provides features to manage drivers, including assignments, mileage updates and P11D reporting, and will help all fleet operators fulfil their duty of care towards company car users.”
Wholesale pricing is calculated on a per fleet vehicle per month basis, with variable costs dependant on specific OEMs data pricing. Brokers are free to mark up the service how they see fit and generate their own recurring revenue. Future plans include integrating with maintenance systems for automated service updates, driver behaviour alerts and environmental impact reporting.
Last year FIRE5 digital was bought by Jurni Leasing, which has supported the development of Automotus. Healy said the new fleet portal was the first of several major upgrades to Automotus platform which will provide a fully integrated service to brokers.
Automotus is an event partner at the 2025 Broker News Awards, and a partner of Broker News.
