SALARY sacrifice specialist, The Electric Car Scheme, has agreed a greater revolving credit facility with Triple Point Private Credit.
Thom Groot, Managing Director of The Electric Car Scheme, said the new debt facility would enable it to continue its growth path, while also providing funding for product innovation – such as the planned introduction of salary sacrifice for home heat pumps – and strategic expansion.
As well as offering salary sacrifice to companies, with the cars provided through its partner Gateway2Lease, the company also offers an innovative salary sacrifice for EV charging through its The Charge Scheme solution designed for drivers who do not have access to home chargers. The Charge Scheme won Best Innovation at the 2025 Broker News Awards.
The newly structured debt facility extends an earlier revolving credit facility and follows The Electric Car Scheme’s successful Series A funding round in August 2024. Both Triple Point and The Electric Car Scheme are certified B corporations with a focus on long term sustainability.
Sean Brophy, Chief CommercialOfficer at Triple Point Private Credit, commented:
“We’ve built a strong, long-term relationship with The Electric Car Scheme, and this facility reflects our confidence in their operational maturity and growth trajectory.”
Thom Groot, CEO of The Electric Car Scheme, added:
“Triple Point has been a valued long-term partner in our journey. Their understanding of our business and mission has helped us scale with confidence. As a fellow B Corp, their commitment to responsible finance aligns closely with our values, and we’re excited to continue building on this partnership as we expand our impact.”
