THE new members and structure of the Leasys broker team were revealed by managing director of Leasys, Matthew Boswell, at the BVRLA Leasing Broker Conference (21 June 2023).
The merged Leasys and Free2move Lease teams now comprises:
- James Russell, head of indirect sales
- David Bates, broker zone manager
- Matt Dawson, broker zone manager
- David Godfrey, broker zone manager
- Leanne George, network development manager
Matthew told delegates that the merging of the two Stellantis owned businesses offered greater scalability, better IT systems, and represented 55,000 units in the UK and an 850,000 fleet in Europe.
But Matthew said he was keen to stress that Leasys is 50% owned by Credit Agricole and was a true multi-marque funder.
As a multi marque funder we will be honest and respectful. It’s a market we haven't really done justice to, so we have a long way to go. We have to be consistent with delivery - but we do have an appetite to grow business. We want to be much better and professional in business and working together. So we have grown the broker team to five, plus a support team.

Broker portal to bring special offers
Matthew added that the business had a new broker portal resource where Leasys would work with both Stellantis and other brands to bring brokers special offers.
The portal can be accessed at www.leasysbroker.co.uk.
“This is a valuable resource for instant business,” added Matthew.
