WEST Midlands-based retailer Startin Group has agreed a new supply deal with Nissan and is now live with the brand across its fleet operation.
Startin said the new Nissan fleet partnership would help strengthen the retailer’s ability to supply vans and cars to leasing companies and local business customers through its fleet channels.

Lee O’Connell, Head of Fleet at Startin Group, and formerly with SOGO Mobility, said: “We continue to see strong demand from the public sector, leasing companies and local businesses for dependable vans that can be delivered quickly and properly supported moving forward.
“Adding Nissan to our fleet offering strengthens our ability to supply both vans and passenger cars through the same channels. We already have a significant number of orders confirmed and a strong pipeline developing, which shows there is real appetite in the fleet market for the great cars and vans in the Nissan range.”
Strategy Director of Central Contracts, Gareth Roberts, added that it was “Definitely going to be a good asset to us in the broker sector,” as Startin already has strong relationships with many leasing brokers.
Russell Forbes, Fleet Director at Nissan GB, said: “Fleet remains a core part of Nissan’s UK strategy and working with established dealer groups is essential to reach customers effectively across multiple fleet sales channels.
“Startin Group’s fleet team is hugely experienced with a clear focus on supporting broker partners and local businesses. We are confident this agreement will help grow Nissan’s presence in the fleet and LCV market.”
Startin Group operates a Nissan dealership in Worcester, which serves customers across the Midlands. Last week, the retailer had a golf day with key partners at the Forest of Arden Golf and Country Club based in Meriden in the Midlands.
