LUIGI Ksawery Luca’ has been appointed the new President and Managing Director of Toyota (GB), effective 01 January 2026.
He takes over from current Toyota GB President and Managing Director Scott Thompson, who will be returning to Toyota Australia.
Luca’ brings a wealth of knowledge both from Toyota Motor Europe and national marketing and sales companies across multiple business areas.
He joined the UK sales and marketing operation of Toyota in September 2025 as Executive Advisor, having previously served as Vice President, Customer Experience and Business Transformation at Toyota Motor Europe and, prior to that, was the CEO/Managing Director of Toyota Motor Italia.
He will take up his new position on 01 January 2026.

While best known for its car range, Toyota is now the fastest growing commercial vehicle brand in the UK. It also owns the Kinto leasing brand.
