Alphabet’s David Davies highly commended in FN50 awards

ALPHABET Business Escalations Team Coordinator, David Davies, was highly commended at the 2025 FN50 Customer Service Awards in the Rising Star category.

According to the commendation, David has made a substantial impact on the Business Escalations team’s processes and procedures for good customer outcomes and has been adept at solving complex challenges. This has included developing a new self-service app to support case handlers in assessing satisfactory vehicle quality enquiries, ensuring the appropriate levels of customer care.

In January 2025, he was also the architect of a new performance dashboard to track key performance indicators and measure case closure times, along with qualitative feedback on staff performance.

Silverstone partners with Cord EV for chargepoint provision

NORTHAMPTONSHIRE based leasing broker Silverstone Leasing has partnered with Cord Power Technologies, which trades as Cord EV, a specialist in EV charging solutions, including the manufacturing and installation of EV chargers, cables and accessories. The company provides products to both consumers and major retailers, including Halfords and Amazon.

Scott Norville, Managing Director at Silverstone Leasing, said: “We’ve found that so many of our customers want to switch to electric vehicles, but some are still wary of the charging infrastructure in the UK. Offering this new solution through a trusted supplier like Cord EV, takes away a customer pain point and makes the transition to electric hassle-free and effortless. FleetCheck partners with Society of Operations Engineers to promote road safety

FLEET software specialist FleetCheck has partnered with the Society of Operations Engineers (SOE) to promote at-work road safety.

The partnership is part of a wider strategy to form relationships with major professional and trade bodies in order to provide information and expertise on proactive risk management.

Initial activities planned with the SOE include a comprehensive new guide to fleet safety fundamentals customised to the organisation’s needs.
