John Fraser swaps VIP Gateway for Omoda Jaecoo
JOHN Fraser is leaping the fence. From today (08 June 2026), John is no longer buying batches of cars from Omoda Jaecoo on behalf of VIP Gateway, he’ll be doing the selling as the Leasing and Rental Manager at Omoda Jaecoo.
After 12 months as Senior Procurement Manager at VIP Gateway, he describes his stay at the Manchester located broker as “good and entertaining”.
“For a business that’s grown so quickly, OEMs talk about VIP in a positive spin,” commented John on his last day at VIP Gateway. “Even daft things like the run club, the OEMs see this and take note. Thanks very much for the last year – it’s been really great.”
John reports to Fleet Sales Director at the Chery Group, Chris Clayton.
Kayleigh Potter promoted to Head of Fleet Operations at Wessex Fleet
CONGRATULATIONS to Kayleigh Potter, appointed Head of Fleet Operations at Wessex Fleet.
Following 10 years as Rental Manager, during which time, according to Wessex Fleet, she transformed a minor business department into a core corporate revenue driver with over £5m turnover, Kayleigh will be guiding fleet strategy at Wessex Fleet.
Her new role involves steering the fleet management broker through the complex logistics of rental supply, driving corporate supplier relationships, and spearheading the next phase of Wessex Fleet’s commercial growth.
Kayleigh’s career spans 20 years in the automotive industry, starting on reception and then in sales support at vehicle data specialist HPI before rising to lead their sales support team, before joining Wessex Fleet a decade ago.
Wessex Fleet was a finalist in the Large Broker Category in the recent Broker News Awards 2026.
Scott Hill leaves Arval for Select Lease by Mobilize
IF you’ve been wondering where Scott Hill has been hiding, well he’s now broken cover from his garden.
The former Broker Sales Manager – Contract Hire at Arval has been appointed Broker Manager at Select Lease By Mobilize, effective today (08 June 2026) following three months of garden leave.
