Jaecoo is at the top of most Google searched car OEMs

IF people were searching for a car on Google’s search engine in 2025, then the key name that invariably was searched was…Jaecoo.

The OEM has been named the most searched Chinese car brand in the UK, according to Google UK’s Year in Search 2025.

It’s an astonishing achievement for a brand that was only launched in the UK in February 2025.

Google’s annual data release highlighted the models and automotive topics that gained the fastest momentum over the past year. “Jaecoo cars” featured prominently in the UK top 10 trending car searches for 2025, ranking third overall, alongside long-established European and Korean nameplates and ahead of several legacy manufacturers.

Gary Lan, CEO of Jaecoo UK, said: “Being recognised by Google as the most searched Chinese car brand in the UK is a significant milestone for Jaecoo. It shows that British consumers are actively seeking new brands that offer distinctive design, advanced technology and all-encompassing value. As awareness grows, our focus remains on building trust, educating customers and delivering products that resonate with the UK market.”

Jaecoo was the fastest growing brand in the November 2025 new car sales.

Ayvens uses ZeroCarbon BatteryManager to track battery health of fleets

HITACHI ZeroCarbon is piloting its ZeroCarbon BatteryManager solution with Ayvens and the fleets it manages. The project, undertaken over three months, proposes to track the performance and health of large batches of electric vehicle batteries within cars, light commercial vehicles, and heavy goods vehicles.

Hitachi ZeroCarbon says it will equip Ayvens with real-time data and insight to optimise EV battery management, and prevent unnecessary degradation and protect vehicle performance, an area increasingly seen as a key driver of EV profitability and residual value.

“Having accurate, real-time EV battery insights helps us to support our customer in making the right decisions when transitioning to electric, ” said Suzanne Phillips, Head of Specialist Sales at Ayvens. “EV batteries are the most valuable asset within the vehicle, and if properly maintained, support better financial planning, drive operational efficiencies, and deliver second-life opportunities for businesses.”
