XLCR wins Pendle Business Award
CONGRATULATIONS to XLCR Vehicle Management for being named Large Business of the Year at the recent Pendle Business Awards.
The awards were organised and delivered by the Pendle Connects team, part of the lovelocalsolutions group, and supported by Pendle Borough Council, Pendle Vision Board and East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce.
Speaking after the event, CEO at XLCR Lee Duerden said: “We won! It was an absolute honour to collect the award on behalf of XLCR Vehicle Management. None of what we have achieved would be possible without the hard work and dedication of my incredible team, who all know and understand that the most important person in our business is our customer. We’re quite literally driven by them. Thank you.”
Recently Lee Duerden received the British Empire Medal in the King’s Birthday Honour’s list for his many acts of charitable giving.
ATS Euromaster appoints Chris Milligan as Head of Key Accounts
ATS Euromaster has appointed Chris Milligan as Head of Key Accounts. In his new role, Chris (pictured left) will be responsible for developing strategic relationships with key accounts as well as sourcing, maintaining and expanding relationships with clients, and ensuring they receive a high-quality service.
He joins with a vast amount of experience gained across sales and marketing in B2B and B2C roles within the automotive, industrial lubricants, and bitumen sectors.
Jason Chamberlain, Commercial Director at ATS Euromaster, said: “Chris is an MBA-qualified sales and marketing senior leader with 25 years of experience. He has proven, repeatedly, that he can manage multiple clients whilst maintaining a high level of service; can delegate and manage assignments; and keep strategic account plans on track. All of this makes him ideal for this role and we are delighted Chris has joined the ATS team.”
Rivervale supports Russell Martin Foundation
RIVERVALE has been supporting the Russell Martin Foundation, a Brighton & Hove charity which uses the power of football to help change people’s lives.
The Brighton broker recently championed the Russell Martin Academy Annual Football Tournament running a competition to raise money for the charity. Following the event, the competition winners received a signed and framed Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club Shirt and one of the two Southampton Football Club shirts from our showroom in Brighton.
“We love getting involved in community projects that make a difference to people’s lives and in the world, and whilst our efforts may not be record-breaking, it has funded the RMA Disability Programme for a further 10 weeks,” said Ben Freakley, Group Marketing Manager at Rivervale.
Rivervale – which acquired 1st Vehicle Finance at the beginning of the year – will also be at the Charlton Athletic Football Club on Tuesday 30 July for the club’s family fun day, where the leasing broker will be giving away two Vista Lounge Tickets to a Charlton Athletic FC game and raising money for the Charlton Athletic Community Trust.
