OVER the last few months, OLEV has seen a dramatic rise in the number of applications for the government’s Plug-in Car Grant (PICG).
According to a BVRLA report, the demand is higher than expected and applications may take longer than expected.
The BVRLA says that OLEV is working closely with the Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA) which checks and approves applications to the grant scheme, to increase capacity and speed up the approvals process.
