CONGRATULATIONS to Synergy Car Leasing boss Paul Parkinson who now takes over the chairmanship of the BVRLA Leasing Broker Committee.
Parkinson takes over from outgoing chair Alan Carreras following a year as vice-chair helping steer the group through the global pandemic as well as Brexit implications and challenges.
As part of his new responsibilities, Parkinson successfully chaired last week’s BVRLA Leasing Broker Conference in London.
Having been a member of the BVRLA Leasing Broker Committee since 2015, Parkinson will continue the committee’s remit of driving up industry standards by sharing best practice. Its recent successes include the roll out of online training programmes and broker audits, focusing on financial compliance.
I’m delighted to take on the role of chairman of the Leasing Broker Committee. I will work to ensure that through our shared voice and learning, as well as sector policy developments, our broker members continue to benefit from the work of the committee and the wider BVRLA.Paul Parkinson, CEO and founder, Synergy Car Leasing and chair of the BVRLA Leasing Broker Committee
“I am committed to further developing member engagement, as this sector is very well positioned to capitalise on the growth in online sales based on the flexibility of choice that comes with leasing and the high levels of professionalism shown in the sector.”
Outgoing BVRLA Leasing Broker Committee chairman, Alan Carreras, added:
“It has been a pleasure to work so closely with Paul over the last year, and I know that Paul will champion the interests of BVRLA members, as well as the customer, in his role as chairman, and will continue to drive the sector forward.”
Parkinson finished by saying:
“I would like to thank Alan, on behalf of the committee, for his work and support over the last two extremely challenging years.”
