THE Scottish dealer group, Peter Vardy, has launched a leasing broker division.

Based in Motherwell, Peter Vardy Leasing was registered with the FCA on 10 March 2021 and was officially launched this week. It has also become a BVRLA Leasing Broker member.

The announcement was made today (07 April) at the same time that Peter Vardy began sponsorship of Scottish Rugby. The Peter Vardy Group is now a Principal Partner and new front of shirt sponsor for the Scotland national team in a four-year deal that starts this summer.

The deal for Scottish Rugby is wide-ranging. Peter Vardy Group will also
be the back of shirt sponsor for Scotland 7s from the 2021/22 season as well as Edinburgh Rugby car partner, with branding also included on the capital pro-team kit.

As a Scottish family business we are very proud to be the Principal Partner of Scottish Rugby. We have long been keen supporters of Scottish Rugby, both commercial and as fans and I believe we share similar values. Commercially, of course, it is a fantastic opportunity to promote our brands across the UK and globally; over 8 million people watched the recent Scotland versus England game – that level of exposure is massive for us.

According to the new Peter Vardy Leasing website, built by Broker News Partner Automotus, the company states:

We collaborate with the leading leasing company funders to provide a wide choice of amazing and limited access deals and have direct relationships with major vehicle manufacturers to create exclusive leasing offers direct to the public. In addition, the Peter Vardy Motor group also owns a franchise portfolio including BMW, MINI , Jaguar, Land Rover and Porsche and we work closely in order to offer the very best value.

Vardy added that he wanted the group to become a key mobility supplier, adding that “not everyone wants to own a car, so we want to be the automotive retailer who offers consumers what they want, whether that is through subscription car programmess, leasing or car sharing”.
