SIR David Amess, MP for Southend West, was tragically murdered on 15 October 2021 while serving his constituents.
Gary Rose, director of Planet Leasing, writes this tribute:
We knew David very well as our local member of Parliament. He was very well known within the local community and was particularly proactive in supporting local businesses and residents within his constituency.
David had made numerous visits to Planet House over the years and the photograph shown above was taken on 18 March 2016 when he was invited to officially open our new head office here in Leigh-on-Sea being just a few doors along from his constituency office.
David was instrumental in supporting our business along the way, especially with our involvement with the National Apprentice programme, and continually reached out to assist us at every opportunity.
Our thoughts and sincere condolences are with David’s family during these tragic times.
