RIVERVALE is to relocate from its long-term headquarters at Victoria Road, Portslade, Brighton, to a new base in nearby Shoreham.
The sale of its Bosch Car Service and MAXUS Service Centre operations at Victoria Road has been agreed.
The strategic move reflects Rivervale’s long-term focus on growing its core leasing, fleet management and minibus businesses, therefore creating a business structure that is better aligned to future demand and opportunity.
The Dolphin Road Shoreham site (pictured) offers space to create new offices, capacity to support further expansion, and room to prepare and manage vehicles for fleet customers all under one roof; giving the business greater flexibility than its previous premises, which were more aligned to a traditional dealership model.
Vince Pemberton, CEO of Rivervale and Chair of the BVRLA Leasing Broker Committee said:
“This is a very positive move for Rivervale and an important step in our long-term plans.”
With 4,063 total orders in 2025, Rivervale Holdings was the eighth biggest leasing broker by sales volume in the inaugural BN25 league table.
“Our leasing, fleet management and minibus businesses have been growing strongly, and moving to Dolphin Road gives us a base that is better suited to the future direction of the business. It gives us the space and flexibility to support growth and continue delivering the levels of service our customers expect.”

Neil Chapman, Chairman of Rivervale, said: “This is a strategic decision that supports Rivervale’s continued development and allows the business to focus on the areas where we see the greatest long-term potential.
“Rivervale has built a strong reputation by responding to changing customer needs and continuing to adapt as the market evolves. This move gives the business the right foundations for the future, with a clearer focus and a more suitable operating base for its next stage of growth.”
