BRIGHTON-based Rivervale has appointed Ian Saunders as Financial Controller. He will sit within the finance division of the business to further strengthen financial reporting and oversight across the group.
Ian will manage Rivervale’s finance team, supporting the business as it continues to evolve and scale.
He brings extensive senior finance leadership experience gained across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing and operations, online and commercial retail, as well as PE-backed businesses.
After starting his career in banking, Ian has built significant expertise within the motor industry, having worked across multi-franchise, multi-site dealership groups. He has also overseen the acquisition and integration of additional dealerships into group structures.
Alongside his finance background, Ian offers broad experience across HR, operations, governance and IT, and is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant.
On his appointment, Ian said: “I’m happy to be joining Rivervale at an exciting time in their evolution. We have a great team here and I’m looking forward to strengthening our processes and driving efficiencies to help support the continued growth that Rivervale is planning.”
