SHOREHAM-based Rivervale has appointed David Wynn-Davies as Fleet Funding Manger as it expands its support for UK businesses operating fleets of five vehicles or more.
David joins Rivervale following a long successful career in automotive finance, including more than 20 years with Renault Finance and recent experience in corporate funding for major captive finance provider.
Based near Rivervale’s Shoreham offices, he will focus on developing new customer relationships and supporting businesses with fleets of five or more vehicles that require funding solutions and credit facilities and multi-marque vehicle finance options through Rivervale’s panel of funding partners.
As a broker rather than a lender, Rivervale can help businesses compare options across a panel of finance partners, lenders and vehicle manufacturers.
David has particular expertise in Lease Purchase and Hire Purchase agreements, which may suit businesses looking to retain vehicles, manage disposal themselves or reduce exposure to end-of-contract condition charges often associated with Contract Hire.
Vince Pemberton, Chief Executive Officer at Rivervale and Chairman of the BVRLA Leasing Broker Committee commented: “David’s experience in corporate vehicle funding adds real strength to our fleet proposition.”
“More businesses are looking for practical funding options that work around how they operate, whether that is Contract Hire, Hire Purchase, Lease Purchase or a blended approach. David’s knowledge will help us support those conversations with greater depth and confidence.”

On his appointment, David added: “I am delighted to join Rivervale to launch this new Fleet Funding opportunity for fleets of 5 or more vehicles. With my last few years in corporate funding for a major captive funder with an Alliance of OEMs, I feel there is an excellent opportunity for Rivervale to offer multi marque fleets multi funding offerings.”
The appointment forms part of Rivervale’s continued commitment to expanding its expertise and supporting businesses with flexible vehicle funding and fleet management solutions across the UK.
