BRISTOL based van experts Vanaways has appointed experienced LCV specialist Ross Davies to head up the first of its new Vanaways Connect hubs.
Vanaways Connect is a spoke and hub operation, with sales operations based at the Connect location and the backend administration operated from the Vanaways Bristol HQ.
According to Director Adam Carter, it’s a way of bringing localised sales teams closer to their direct customers at a local level, from small businesses to fleet operators, while maintaining Vanaways’ nationwide buying power and operational excellence, recognised by Broker News as the Best LCV Leasing Broker for two successive years.
“Where there’s a group of LCV specialists, we’ll set up a Vanaways Connect hub to make the most of their local expertise and knowledge, while delivering our trademark scale and efficiency,” Adam added.
Leading the strategic rollout, which begins in Bridgend, South Wales, is highly experienced van expert Ross Davies, who is appointed General Manager.
Ross, who has more than 14 years’ motor trade experience, includes senior roles at the South Wales broker lcv group (formerly Low Cost Vans), which was sold to Global Vans to form the Global Vehicle Group earlier this year.
“I see my role in this vision as a key part of managing the Vanaways Connect programme, which allows a national company to have a presence at a regional and local level. It provides outreach, promotes customer confidence and allows Vanaways to attract the best sales people, wherever they are based.”

Carter added that the Vanaways Connect roll out formed a key pillar in the company’s wider strategic growth plan, supporting its vision to redefine the vehicle supply experience for commercial customers. As more hubs are launched, Vanaways aims to provide even faster service, deeper customer relationships, and a truly localised presence in high-demand regions across the UK.
