THE Automotive Transformation Group has completed the acquisition of SalesMaster, one of the market’s leading software suppliers, just weeks after the group’s launch.
With aims to support its customers in the automotive industry as the sector rapidly shifts to increasing levels of digitalisation, the Automotive Transformation Group’s latest deal looks to enhance its expertise in supporting customers through the delivery of a comprehensive omnichannel consumer journey.
Founded in 2009 in the UK, SalesMaster is already used by brokers and dealership sites in its domestic market and will be brought under the Automotive Transformation Group’s GForces banner. Key features include stock management tool Stockbook, vehicle booking system Demo Diary, and fleet-focused order management platform Fleetbase.
These, as well as the company’s other solutions, will be integrated into the Automotive Transformation Group’s offering, creating an even stronger proposition for customers of its platform. With a focus on new vehicles, data quality, and operation efficiency, the tools will assist OEMs and retailers to bring multiple data sets into a single, easy to use interface.
Giles Smith, chief product officer, Automotive Transformation Group, said: “We already had an excellent working relationship with the team at SalesMaster, having collaborated on a series of successful, leading-edge GForces client projects.
“They are true industry vehicle data specialists who have worked in a dealer sales environment and therefore understand the complexities of managing various data sources for both new and used vehicles. Their digital know-how and client base are an ideal fit.”
SalesMaster CEO, Chris Stott, said:
We’ve been on a huge growth journey over the last 11 years and this latest stage is our most exciting yet. We’re delighted to become a part of the Automotive Transformation Group and look forward to a great international future together in the years ahead.
