SCOT Group has begun the rollout of its new Switch car rental branding across its network of 90 UK locations. The first installations of the Switch logo and its distinctive orange branding have been completed at London’s Heathrow Airport and in the Greater London Borough of Bexley.
The Switch orange branding is being added to the existing blue Thrifty branding at all co-located Scot Group premises. Switch says it expects the rebranding work to be completed by December 2024.
Launched in June by the Exeter-based Scot Group, Switch is a core part of the company’s growth strategy. The new business focuses on providing flexible car and van rental services tailored to SME and corporate clients, with plans to introduce innovative mobility solutions in the future.
The signage rollout follows the branding of the Group’s vehicles – 3,000 of which have already been dual-branded and are operational, with over 24,000 vehicles expected to receive the Switch branding.
“The Switch logo really stands out, which is exactly what we plan to do with our new rental offering. It’s brilliant to see Switch coming to life across our locations and our branded vehicles means we’re super visible on the road too. Switch enables us to be more proactive in how we serve our customers and we’re already off to a strong start with onboarding new clients. The future is hugely exciting - and very orange.”

Scot Group is also building Switch’s marketing channels. The preliminary Switch website is live, with a more advanced, user-friendly site set to launch in the coming months. Additionally, Switch’s presence is growing on social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
Switch shares the Scot Group’s values and is committed to supporting its charities. The Group recently held a Business Club event at the Tower of London to support Motor Neurone Disease (MND) charity the My Name’5 Doddy Foundation. The business also supports local hospice charity Hospiscare.
