Select Car Leasing hosting major EV event at Reading FC

SELECT Car Leasing is gearing up for a major EV showcase for businesses and fleet professionals on Thursday 2 October.

Select Live will take place at Reading FC’s Select Car Leasing stadium, which Select sponsors, and promises hands-on displays and demonstrations of over 40 EVs from brands such as Audi, Polestar, BMW, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, CUPRA, Maserati, BYD, Xpeng and Jaecoo. The novelty appearance is a Tesla Cybertruck (even though it’s not sold in Europe).

The free-to-attend event also offers networking opportunities and expert-led advice sessions covering everything from EV tax advice and charging costs, to running an employee salary sacrifice scheme and the UK’s electric vehicle infrastructure. Home charging is covered by some of Select’s key industry partners, including E.ON Next and Kerbo Charge.

One of the confirmed guest speakers is Adrian Keen, consultant and former CEO with Instavolt, the rapid EV charging network specialists. Adrian will be talking about how the transition to EVs can be accelerated through easy, reliable public charging.

Lastly there’ll be prizes to win including a free six-month EV lease contract and a VIP box at Reading FC.
