SELECT Car Leasing customers choosing an EV or plug-in hybrid can now unlock 8,000 free EV charging miles when switching to E.ON Next’s Drive tariff.
There is also the opportunity to benefit from £75 off a home EV charge point installation
According to the Reading headquartered leasing broker the benefits of the partnership include:
- £134 of energy credit
- £75 off an E.ON Next EV charger installation
Select says that by charging from 12am – 7a, during E.ON Next Drive’s low off-peak electricity rate of just 6.7p per kilowatt hour, the £134 credit can provide 8,000 miles when driving a range of efficient EVs, including the Tesla Model Y, the MINI Electric and the Fiat 500e.

Despite electric vehicles accounting for a record share of the UK market last year, just one in 10 private buyers opted for an EV in 2024, with over 60% still choosing petrol.
