THE newly combined ALD | LeasePlan has announced the senior management that will lead the new leasing business under the guidance of Alfonso Martinez, UK managing director, and Tim Laver, UK deputy managing director.

Called the UK integration committee, its approval is subject to the FCA.

Who is in the ALD | LeasePlan integration committee?

Chris Black – commercial director

Chris Black has served as commercial director at LeasePlan UK since July 2018 and will now serve as commercial director of the combined entity. Chris has been in the automotive industry for over 20 years and prior to joining LeasePlan UK held senior sales roles at Lombard and VW Commercial Vehicles.

Rudolf Cellier – finance director

Rudolf Cellier, currently FD at LeasePlan UK, has been selected as finance director of the combined entity. Rudolf joined LeasePlan UK in 2020 having previously been FD for LeasePlan in Mexico.

Anna Woodward – risk & compliance director

Anna Woodward, currently legal & compliance director at ALD UK, has been selected as risk & compliance director. A qualified solicitor, Anna joined ALD UK at the beginning of 2013 before joining the board in November 2016. In her new role, Anna will assume responsibility for credit risk whilst retaining responsibility for areas such as operational risk, enterprise risk and financial crime.

Lisa McGowan – strategy & transformation director

Lisa McGowan, currently customer service and quality director at LeasePlan UK, has been selected as strategy & transformation director. Lisa has been with LeasePlan for over 11 years and in addition to her current directorship has performed a variety of roles in pricing, performance and process and for the last 14 months has been co-lead for the UK integration planning.

Charlie Pantlin – IT & digital director

Charlie Pantlin is currently IT Director at ALD UK and has been selected to be IT & digital director of the combined entity. Charlie joined ALD UK as a developer in 2003 and went on to hold a number of senior management roles, including a 12-month secondment to the central Paris team, prior to his director appointment in 2018.

Attila Dobos – operations director

Attila Dobos is currently operations director at LeasePlan UK and has been selected to be operations director of the combined entity. This will be Attila’s fourth operations director role having commenced his LeasePlan career in Hungary in 2012 before moving to Sweden in 2017 and the UK in 2020.

David Rodriguez – remarketing director

David Rodriguez, currently operations director at ALD UK, has been selected as remarketing director. David joined ALD UK from Mitsubishi in 2021 where he was sales & marketing director. Between 2012 and 2020 David spent seven years at LeasePlan UK where his roles included leading the procurement and remarketing functions. In his new role David will also sponsor the development of the Milton Keynes Flex operation. 

Steve Jones – customer service director

Steve Jones, formerly LeasePlan UK strategy and transformation director, has been selected as customer service director. Steve brings substantial industry and leasing experience having joined from Lex Autolease in 2012.

Jo Monk – HR director

Jo Monk, currently HR director of ALD UK, has been selected to be HR director for the combined entity. Jo joined ALD as head of HR in 2005 following a career within FMCG companies such as Unilever, Golden Wonder and Johnson Diversey. Jo successfully led the development of the HR team to support the wider business growth and joined the operating board in 2017.

Lisa Wilkinson – legal director

Lisa Wilkinson, currently head of legal and compliance at ALD UK, has been selected as legal director. Lisa joined ALD in 2018 bringing significant experience in financial services including in relation to FCA regulatory matters.
