CONGRATULATIONS to Shane Coomber who has been appointed Managing Director of Leasys UK, effective 01 February 2025.

Shane replaces Matthew Boswell, who has been Managing Director of Leasys UK since April 2023 following its consolidation with Free2Move Lease. There is no news on where Boswell goes next.

Having worked for 30 years within the Stellantis Group, Shane steps up from her role as Marketing Director with an impressive portfolio across operations, underwriting, dealer service, as well as Free2Move UK’s Operations Director and Commercial Director, before her role as Marketing Director of Leasys UK from April 2023.

“I’m honoured to take up the role of Managing Director at Leasys UK during this incredibly exciting time. Leasys UK is not just at the forefront of operational leasing, but a key partner in helping our customers navigate transitions around fleet electrification and modernisation. It will be a privilege to lead the team, who have built a well-earned reputation for operational excellence and responsiveness to customer needs and established Leasys UK as a trusted, reliable provider to commercial fleets across the country.”

Leasys UK has certainly performed well, moving up to ninth place in the FN50 with a fleet of nearly 52,000 vehicles, having been created as a joint venture between Stellantis and Crédit Agricole Personal Finance and Mobility in April 2023.

The bank has also focused on the leasing broker sector, holding its first annual broker business meeting in September 2024.

Sebastiano Fedrigo, Head of G3 Markets & Business Development (UK, Germany & Portugal) at Leasys, said: “Over the last year, Leasys UK has continued to go from strength to strength, and our thanks go to Matthew for his vital role in these successes. Shane is stepping into the role of Managing Director as Leasys UK continues to build momentum as the country’s preeminent operational leasing provider. She brings unparalleled experience and knowledge to the position, and is perfectly placed to lead the brand for its next growth phase.”
