SILVERSTONE Leasing has become an official partner to its hometown football club, Northampton Town Football Club, nicknamed the Cobblers in a reference to the town’s shoemaking industry.
The continued collaboration has led to a flourishing partnership spanning several seasons. Silverstone is a longstanding supporter of the club previously putting their name to the club’s warm-up T-shirts and recently sponsoring a board in Sixfields Stadium.
In return, the Cobblers have used Silverstone Leasing as a supplier of their company cars for the past five years, leasing four vehicles for members of the board of directors.
Silverstone Leasing managing director Scott Norville said: “Our experience so far with the club has been fantastic and we’ve enjoyed both sides of the relationship, supplying cars, meeting new contacts and expanding our network through a shared joy of the beautiful game!”
James Corrigan, commercial director at Northampton Town Football Club, said: “From a service point of view, Ryan, Scott and the team have been fantastic, they’re constantly on hand if you need them. They always pick up the phone and nothing’s too much for them, that’s what we’ve really found and that’s what you want, someone who will go above and beyond.
“We’ve even taken it a step further as they’ve come on board as official partners this year. We only bring on partners who we genuinely feel are credible and that we can introduce to other businesses.”
