SOGO, a flexi-lease provider, is taking a bold step towards a greener future with the launch of a new leasing model.

This innovative approach prioritises providing companies with the lowest-emission vehicles, using advanced data analytics to ensure drivers are matched with the most environmentally friendly option for their needs.

The model leverages real-time data on vehicle usage to identify opportunities for greener alternatives, offering fleet managers a chance to switch to BEVs, PHEVs, or the latest-generation ICE vehicles. This flexible approach ensures that fleets remain aligned with ESG goals while optimising cost efficiency.

SOGO’s commitment to sustainability extends beyond vehicle selection. It offers a comprehensive suite of services designed to simplify the transition to electric or very low-emission vehicles. In situations where an EV isn’t feasible, SOGO partners with BP Target Neutral to measure, reduce, and offset carbon emissions.

“We continue to evolve our business in partnership with our customers,” said Lee O’Connell, Sales Director at SOGO (main picture). “Focusing on responsible vehicle leasing creates a flexible model that supports ESG goals and provides value for our customers and their employees.”

SOGO’s emphasis on environmental responsibility doesn’t come at the expense of economic sustainability. The company actively works with fleets to minimise the cost of vehicle operation, demonstrating that green initiatives can be financially sound.

“We are focused on helping companies meet and exceed their ESG objectives by supporting their goals to operate leaner and greener fleets,” added O’Connell.

“The launch of our new leasing concept offers the flexibility to lease a vehicle on a monthly basis or a short-term fixed contract and still benefit from the latest technology and safety features. Our data shows that operating the latest, greenest vehicles can deliver significant tax and efficiency savings.”

SOGO said its dedication to sustainability was evident in its achievements. SOGO was one of the first companies in the sector to achieve the Scope 3 emissions environmental standard. Since its launch in 2020, the company has experienced rapid growth, fuelled by its popular SOGO Flexi Leasing model, which provides all-inclusive monthly contracts.

With this new leasing model, SOGO claims it is solidifying its position as a leader in sustainable fleet management. By combining environmental responsibility with economic viability, the company believes it is paving the way for a greener future in the fleet industry.
