SUZUKI is clearing out its stock of ICE vehicles ahead of an electrified line up and its first EVs.
According to the OEM, Swift Sport, Jimny LCV, Ignis and Swace (pictured above) will be discontinued from the model range by start 2025.
“We’re exiting the ICE era with a focus on SUVs and new Swift, then starting in the second half of 2025 we’ll begin a period of EV growth.”
Dale Wyatt, Director of Suzuki UK Tweet
That would leave Suzuki with a hybrid model line-up of Swift, Vitara, S-Cross and Across PHEV, before a new electric SUV arrives later in 2025 called eVX (pictured below) with an expected range in excess of 300 miles.
Suzuki said it was preparing to transition the brand and its dealer network to fully comply with all UK and EU legislation but expected similar volumes in 2024 to what was achieved in 2023.
