LOW Cost Vans has been confirmed as Swansea City’s official commercial vehicle partner for the forthcoming 2021/22 season.
The announcement sees the club’s partnership with local van broker specialist Low Cost Vans celebrate a decade together.
Based in neighbouring town Neath, Low Cost Vans will also see the company retain the sponsorship of the club’s dug-out, regularly gaining air time during televised games.
Rod Lloyd, managing director of Low Cost Vans, said: “We have been a commercial sponsor of Swansea City for 10 years and we are thrilled to announce we will once again be supporting the Swans for yet another season.
“Having started watching the club at nine years of age at the Vetch through to our partnership now, I’m a champion of the family-friendly atmosphere which has long stayed throughout these years and is similar to how I operate my business.”
Rebecca Edwards-Symmons, head of commercial at Swansea City, said: “We are delighted that Low Cost Vans has renewed their sponsorship with the football club for the 2021/22 season.
“This has been a long-standing relationship with a valued local brand and their values are very much mirrored with our own.”
Having grown quickly in the past 12 months despite economic conditions, Low Cost Vans has added 10 new members of staff in that time, including a new analyst, head of marketing, and director of compliance.
The firm has also recently launched a new short-term van hire division – LCV Hire – which also created new jobs. It follows the creation of two businesses in early 2020 with the launch of First National Cars and First Electric Vehicles.
