- New offering provides flexible vehicle rental with contracts starting from just one month
SWITCH Vehicle Rental, a new brand launched by Scot Group earlier this year, has announced the launch of ‘MySwitch,’ a flexible mobility solution designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s drivers.
MySwitch offers customers the ability to choose from a wide range of vehicles, including cars and vans, with the option to switch between them as their requirements change. Contracts start from as little as one month, providing a level of agility previously unseen in the vehicle rental market.
"The whole ethos of the Switch brand is to be agile and provide more innovative vehicle mobility solutions. We're delighted to launch MySwitch, which offers drivers real flexibility and a huge choice of vehicles. What that means in practice is that you could choose a roomy estate car for the summer holidays, or a van if that better suits your needs, then switch to a commuting-capable SUV to handle winter road conditions."
Martin Wilson, Managing Director of Scot Group Tweet
Key features of MySwitch include:
- Short-term commitments: Contracts available from one month.
- Vehicle switching: Change vehicles after an initial three-month period.
- Mileage options: Choose from 1,000 or 2,000 miles per month.
- Inclusive package: Maintenance, road tax, and breakdown cover included.
- Refundable deposit: Providing financial peace of mind.
Switch anticipates strong demand for MySwitch from those considering the transition to electric vehicles, as it offers an extended “try before you buy” period. This allows customers to fully experience electric vehicle ownership and determine if it aligns with their lifestyle and needs.
The launch of MySwitch is the latest step in Switch’s strategy to disrupt the vehicle rental market with a more proactive and customer-centric approach. The company also offers short and long-term rental options and plans to introduce further innovative mobility solutions in the future.
Switch operates alongside Thrifty Car & Van Rental, both of which are part of the Scot Group portfolio. The company aims to be a significant player in the UK vehicle rental market, leveraging its agility and focus on customer needs to drive growth.
