THE maker of ODO’s fleet management software, DRIVE Software Solutions, has appointed Stephen Doran as non-executive director to the board.
Doran joins DRIVE following the company’s successful first year under its new management team, reporting revenue growth of 30% and a trebling of the number of vehicles under fleet management through the ODO platform, used by leasing brokers to expand their fleet service provision.
With extensive experience in technology companies, Doran has been involved with developing the Norwich Union/Aviva pay-as-you-drive insurance for young drivers; he led and grew vehicle security company Tracker under Direct Line Group before selling it; and then built Ecofleet, a fleet management company based in Estonia, to around 100,000 vehicles under management before selling the business in 2018.
This is an exciting time for the business. I am looking forward to working with the team to accelerate growth even further as we broaden our routes to market and deliver innovative solutions in areas such as EV transition management and Mobility as a Service.
