THE BVRLA has strengthened its senior executive team with two new appointments.

Harry Madan joins as head of compliance and governance (above, left), while Adam Forshaw (above, right) joins as head of communications.

Madan may be be familiar to many leasing brokers, having previously worked for the Consumer Credit Advisory Services as a compliance consultant and auditor.

Commenting on Madan’s appointment, Shashi Maharaj, legal & membership director, commented:

“Harry comes to us with a wealth of experience, having previously worked for the company that conducted our Leasing Broker Inspection Programme.

“He has a strong record of accomplishment for project delivery within the compliance sector. With his previous knowledge of our governance programme and extensive experience in the motor industry, Harry is a good fit for the association and is keen to get stuck into the range of compliance activities that his new role will demand.”

Meanwhile Forshaw joins the communications team, having worked in a variety of pr agency roles, most recently Cirkle, and before that the Torque Agency Group.

Commenting on Forshaw’s appointment, corporate affairs director, Toby Poston, added:

“Adam joins the BVRLA with an impressive background working with suppliers across the automotive industry, as well as some of the UK’s best known consumer brands.

“We’re pleased to welcome Adam at a very busy time for us and our members. His experience in media relations and campaign delivery will ensure we keep members informed and help us to increase the influence of our industry.”
