DURING the annual roll out of the FN50 a seemingly unknown funder caused a few recognition issues.
At 13 in the FN50, Mobilize Financial Services moved up from 16th place with a fleet of nearly 22,500 vehicles.
While the name caused some quizzical faces around the table, Mobilize Financial Services is better known to brokers as the funder RCI Financial Services.
However, the Renault Group captive was rebranded recently to the company’s new mobility brand – Mobilize – to reflect Renault’s strategy to “go beyond the automotive industry”.
The Renault Group funder covers Renault, Dacia and Alpine along with Nissan through the Nissan Financial Services brand.
Reflecting on LinkedIn, Neil Davies said:
Nice to reflect on a busy week: great to be able to present to the Nissan Fleet team on Wednesday, enjoy a day with some Renault UK colleagues and dealer partners on Thursday discussing vans but superseded by Tuesday's FN50 awards where Mobilize achieved a 30%+ leasing portfolio growth for the second year running. Many thanks to all of our great dealer, manufacturer and broker partners for the support.
Neil Davies, head of fleet, Mobilize Financial Services
Alice Altemaire, CEO of Mobilize Financial Services added that it came at a really exciting time as the market was shifting towards new, innovative services and digital customer journeys, which would allow customers to reduce vehicle ownership costs while having access to greener mobility.
Mobilize Financial Services is the commercial brand of RCI Banque SA, a French Bank specialising in automotive financing.
