ACCORDING to used car information source Marketcheck UK, analysis of full-year used Tesla sales in 2025, reveals a distinct seasonal pattern of growth followed by a steady decline.
According to the company’s data, used Tesla sales rose consistently in the first half of the year, peaking in July 2025 with 2,983 units sold – the highest monthly total on record. However, sales have declined in every subsequent month, finishing the year at 1,941 units sold in December, a 34.9% drop from the summer high.

Commenting for Marketcheck, Alastair Campbell said:
“Used Tesla sales saw strong momentum through the spring and summer months of 2025, but the second half of the year revealed signs of softening demand. December’s figures mark the lowest monthly sales volume in over a year.
“While Tesla remains one of the most sought-after EV brands in the UK, these figures suggest a slowing over the second half of 2025. Whether this downward trend continues into 2026 will depend on pricing, competition, and ongoing consumer confidence in EVs.”
