VAN specialist broker, Vanarama, is supplying two vans to help FareShare, a UK food charity.

Two vans will be sent to FareShare North East. They will help supply 42,858 meals meals to the region’s vulnerable children during a six-week period.

Vanarama said it was inspired to get involved after seeing the charity’s partnership with Manchester United Striker, Marcus Rashford.

We’re delighted we can put some of our vans to good use by helping the community in the North East.

Jake Hanmore, at Fare Share North East, added:

“FareShare North East now reaches more than 200 charitable projects every week, redistributing over 150 tonnes of food every month with the support of more than 120 volunteers. These vans play an extremely important role in ensuring that the food reaches people safely. We are very grateful to Vanarama for their support and generous donation at this difficult time.”
