IN a move set to revolutionise fleet maintenance, van broker specialist Vanaways has joined forces with a UK-wide network of bodyshops. This strategic alliance aims to provide fleet owners with a swift and efficient solution to get their vehicles back in operation, minimising downtime and associated costs.

The Bristol-based company has secured an exclusive agreement with Essex-based Artura Consultancy, which oversees a vast network of 130 bodyshops spanning the entire country.

Notably, 35 of these bodyshops operate under Artura’s direct control through the Evolution Repair Group. Under this partnership, Artura’s bodyshops will prioritise repairs for Vanaways’ customers, ensuring swift turnaround times.

In a reciprocal arrangement, Artura will actively promote Vanaways as a preferred vehicle provider to its own customer base. This collaboration will furnish Artura’s extensive network with a steady flow of repair work from businesses eager to curtail the financial burden of replacement vehicle hire.

Vanaways said this latest agreement marked another milestone in a series of strategic partnerships forged this year. It follows collaborations with Veriforce CHAS and Fleetmaxx Solutions, designed to cross-promote services to a vast network of tens of thousands of UK businesses.

Collectively, said the van broker, these partnerships will offer customers a comprehensive suite of services, encompassing fuel and fleet cost reduction, risk prevention, compliance, supply chain solutions, and now, with Artura’s integration, a seamless end-to-end claims management service.

Liam Nicholas, Business Development Director at Vanaways, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “It’s a win-win for everyone. Over the past few months, we’ve cultivated a consortium of like-minded companies that share our vision for strategic collaboration.”

He further elaborated: “Together with CHAS, Fleetmaxx, and now Artura, we’re presenting the business community with a comprehensive set of options for acquiring, risk managing, fuelling, and maintaining their vehicles.”

Nicholas emphasised the shared ethos driving these partnerships, saying, “We’re all united by a common commitment to prioritising our customers’ best interests, with the business benefits to ourselves naturally following. This fresh and innovative approach has been the cornerstone of our success in recent years.”

Vanaways was voted Best Commercial Vehicle Broker in the Broker News Awards 2024.
