BRISTOL-based van expert Vanaways has announced the official opening of its brand-new Bridgend Hub, the first site in the new Vanaways Connect network.
The Bridgend facility will serve as a cornerstone in the company’s regional network, enabling:
- Faster access to vehicles, advice and aftersales support for local businesses and fleet operators.
- Personalised, local service delivered by a growing team that blends new talent with experienced Vanaways staff.
- Greater flexibility and efficiency for customers across South Wales and the Southwest – powered by national buying strength and backed by best-in-class systems.
The Bridgend Hub will be the operational blueprint for several new regional centres planned under the Vanaways Connect programme across England and Scotland scheduled for 2026. Each new hub will be built using the learnings from Bridgend – from culture and systems to consultative selling and team structure – ensuring consistency, quality, and performance across the network.
The hub currently operates with a team of seven — including General Manager Ross Davies, with three further additions set to join in January.
“The energy in this hub is incredible. We’re getting up to speed, performing well, and embedding in together. January will be the moment we really turn the dial up and hit the ground running.”
Ross Davies, General Manager, Vanaways Bridgend Tweet
The Bridgend Hub has been designed as an extension of the company’s Bristol headquarters — a dedicated, purely sales-focused environment built to provide fluid, consultative support to customers.
The team has been trained to go beyond first-layer conversations, using a second layer of qualifying questions to better understand each customer’s needs. This approach ensures that customers receive the right vehicle, the right advice, and the right finance options — all delivered through a genuinely consultative sales process.
Vanaways says that the opening of the Bridgend hub reflects the company’s continued investment in people, infrastructure, and technology – ensuring that every customer, wherever they are in the UK, benefits from a seamless, localised experience backed by national strength.
“The Bridgend Hub represents what Vanaways Connect is all about – being closer to our customers, understanding their needs in real time, and delivering the same great value and efficiency with even more personal service. It’s a huge step forward and a clear sign of our long-term commitment to regional growth.”
