EV charging technology business VCHRGD is expanding from being a hardware business into an integrated charging technology company.
The company is now preparing to launch its direct-to-consumer proposition, giving homeowners the ability to purchase a complete charging solution directly from VCHRGD while continuing to strengthen its established trade partner network.
Launched in 2021, working alongside energy providers including Octopus Energy and So Energy, VCHRGD has developed smart tariff integrations that help customers significantly reduce charging costs while giving installers, fleet operators and wholesalers a stronger commercial proposition.
Those partnerships extend across charge point management providers, fleet organisations, leasing brokers, vehicle manufacturers and a nationwide network of installers and wholesalers, creating a connected network that enables partners to secure more business while delivering a better customer experience.
As fleet charging strategies increasingly span workplace, home and salary sacrifice charging, VCHRGD is investing in the technology, partnerships and services needed to simplify deployment and management across every charging location. It says that for fleet operators and leasing providers, that means lower operating costs, a better driver experience and a charging solution that can evolve alongside changing fleet requirements.
