SOFTWARE provider Fleet Procure has seen an 80% year-on-year (YoY) increase in new vehicle orders through its platform.

In the first half of 2025, 32,000 new vehicle orders were placed by 221 different leasing brokers and leasing companies. These orders covered 45 OEMs and 259 different dealers.

Polestar saw the biggest YoY growth with 1,405 orders, while new market entrants BYD and Omoda and Jaecoo are making significant strides with 842 orders and 731 orders respectively, placing them both in the top 15 brands by volume year to date.

Overall, the top-performing brand for H1 2025 was Hyundai with 4,753 orders, followed by Volkswagen (3,822 orders), Peugeot (3,275 orders), Ford (2,314 orders) and Nissan (1,958 orders).

Fleet Procure pivots to new SaaS business model

The results come as Fleet Procure changes its business model. It has completely moved away from a terms holder business model and is now focused solely on being a Software as a Service (SaaS) business, providing procurement portal services to the leasing industry.

Services to OEMs are now focused on campaign deployment and management, order bank visibility and reporting.

“Our pivot to being a software only business has allowed us to now work with all leasing brokers and leasing companies in providing our market-leading procurement portals, addressing any prior concerns of conflicts of interests where OEM discount terms are concerned.”

Further improvements this year with launch of FP 2.0

Fleet Procure is developing a fully updated version of its procurement platform, dubbed FP 2.0, which is due to be released this quarter. Jones said the company was in talks with a number of leasing companies about adopting the new 2.0 platform.

There is also a big focus on API development to integrate Fleet Procure’s order management and Stock Manager portals with leasing brokers’ CRM systems to avoid duplication of work.

Lerato Barrett, who joined the business last year as Commercial Manager to leasing companies and OEMs, says: “The buzzword this year is ‘visibility’ and that is at the heart of our system developments, giving all stakeholders of a vehicle lease visibility of the order bank – the broker, the leaseco, the OEM and supplying dealer.”
