VLS DNA, the Lancashire based software company providing leasing broker websites and back office software, has started to make in-roads into the leasing broker market, following its market launch in early 2020.

“Our offer is based on great functionality backed up by exceptionally good value pricing,” said managing director, Tom Ashton, “along with a fully functional CRM allowing users to track the full process of each transaction from enquiry to delivery to renewal reminders.

“We use cap hpi data so there are no issues uploading to the major lease deal aggregators, with feeds in place with Carwow and others pending,” he added.

The latest client on board has been Athena Leasing, a broker based in Telford, Shropshire. Managing director is Sharon Wyatt, who said:

I looked at other systems before deciding on VLS DNA – it was a combination of system user friendliness, and very good value for money that were the deciding factors. We’ve had to set up the website via virtual tutorials. These meetings continue on a scheduled basis to feedback changes and what I would like to see the software provide, which have been implemented quickly. There have been some bedding-in issues as you would expect, but these have been rapidly resolved. The standard of service has been excellent.

Ashton said the feedback had been invaluable in refining the product as the company prepares to onboard further brokers during Q2.

The broker website software market has undergone significant change since cap hpi said it would only allow brokers with a Broker Communication Licence to use their software beginning 2021, which is required to communicate with the major marketing portals, such as Leasing.com and Carwow.
