VOLKSWAGEN edged Hyundai to head the most ordered brand on the Fleet Procure platform during August.
According to MD Lee Jones, one in three vehicle orders was either a Volkswagen or a Hyundai.
The fuel split, said Lee, was:
- 33% EV
- 3% PHEV
- 16% Hybrid
- 48% ICE
“Although only a one month picture, one in three sales being an EV shows the importance of the leasing broker market for OEMs striving to achieve the 22% ZEV mandate this year,” continued Lee. “As a YTD picture2024 is currently running at 29% EV and I am forecasting a 32% year-end result.”
Greenhous Group was the top performing retailer on the platform, followed by J T Hughes and Holdcroft Motor Group.
