THE ability to use a professional WhatsApp Business Platform was unveiled to delegates at the QV Systems Connect 4 conference (27 March 2024).
It provides the ability to communicate at scale with customers, according to representatives from Esendex, Ben Chambers and Ashleigh Hobson (pictured above).
WhatsApp is a Meta product, and Esendex is a Meta Business Partner.
There are four advantages of WhatsApp Business Platform over the personal and business app versions of WhatsApp, according to Esendex:
These are to have conversations with customers in four areas:
- Marketing – send offers, for example
- Utility – car delivery updates, for example
- Authentication – one time passcodes
- Service – customers can reach business directly to talk to them
Esendex offered up Mercedes as an example of how effective the platform could be, the OEM seeing a 63% increase in customers moving to purchase using the WhatsApp Business Platform.
The WhatsApp Business platform has now been integrated into the Accelerate QV Systems platform. Integration covers messages along with images and files.
"The new functionality of Accelerate further helps leasing brokers with compliance, because all conversations can be evidenced, whether via WhatsApp, SMS or email."
