LEADING leasing broker and fleet management company, XLCR, has announced its key role in facilitating the expansion of Taziker, a prominent infrastructure company, through the provision of a new van fleet.

Taziker’s recent growth, including the addition of new business sites and increasing transportation needs, necessitated the acquisition of additional vehicles. The company also sought to replace its ageing fleet with newer, more reliable vans to improve efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.

XLCR stepped in to provide a tailored fleet management solution, ensuring Taziker had cost-effective access to a range of high-quality vans. The initial fleet of nine vehicles will be utilised across various Taziker divisions, including Industrial Services, Access, and Coatings, spanning operations from the North of Scotland to Bristol.

"We are delighted to support clients like Taziker as their transportation requirements grow. Demand for van fleets has surged over the last year, as businesses recognise their cost-effectiveness in streamlining operations and reducing fuel and maintenance expenses."

Woodcock added: “Van fleets are proving to be invaluable assets for supporting company growth and meeting customer demands. We are encouraged to see businesses like Taziker investing in fleet upgrades with more economical engines, enhancing their operational efficiency and brand presence on the road.”

Wayne Dalton, Transport Manager at Taziker, expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, stating:

“We were particularly impressed with the specification of vehicles provided by XLCR, especially given the competitive pricing. Our crews often travel long distances, so their comfort and safety are paramount. The quality of these new vans will significantly contribute to ensuring both.”

Dalton also highlighted the benefits of upgrading the ageing fleet, noting the improved fuel economy and overall efficiency gains. This strategic move by Taziker underscores the growing importance of modern, well-maintained van fleets in driving business growth and operational success within the infrastructure sector.

XLCR was acquired by Global Vans at the beginning of 2024.
