XLCR and Go Zero Charge have partnered to offer a home charger as part of the leasing package for every customer who leases an EV via thebestcardeals website.

With 55% of XLCR’s leases now comprising EVs—a rise from 52% in 2023—XLCR said the partnership reflected the broker’s commitment to supporting the transition to electric.

“Our partnership with Go Zero Charge is a natural extension of our mission to deliver the best possible leasing experience. By including a reliable home charging solution as part of the lease, we’re helping to make EV driving as simple and stress-free as possible.”

Simplified home charging for company car drivers

A key highlight of Go Zero’s home charging solution is its app, which includes features developed specifically for fleets and company car drivers. Its fleet management solution features an energy payment system that can track usage and enables direct payments to energy providers, removing the need for manual reimbursements.

Additionally, all charges, including those for fleet vehicles, are consolidated into a single monthly bill for the company. XLCR says this streamlined process simplifies payment management and reduces administrative burden. If this option is not selected, company car drivers can still generate an expense report directly from the app, simplifying the process of claiming reimbursement for charging their company car.

Andy Gray, Chief Revenue Officer of Go Zero Charge, said: “Our home charging solutions have features designed to meet the needs of company car drivers and fleet operators, making them a perfect fit for XLCR’s customer base.

“We also pride ourselves on taking an agile approach to our partnerships, developing customised solutions where appropriate. With XLCR, our technology teams have collaborated closely to develop backend solutions that streamline processes and reduce touchpoints. This minimises the need for multiple customer calls.”
