About the winner
Anna was described by her nominee as ‘a superstar of today, and a superstar of the future’. She joined The Electric Car Scheme as Customer Operations Specialist just over two years ago. Already promoted twice, Anna is now Customer Operations Manager.
What made Anna rising star of the year?
The rising star category was incredibly popular this year and included some highly impressive entrants. Broker News editor Ralph Morton commented that ‘the future of the industry is in safe hands’.
Anna stood out for demonstrating excellence across a number of areas. The judges summarised Anna’s win by saying:
‘Anna has clearly had a huge impact at The Electric Car Scheme in the short amount of time that she has been at the company and is highly valued. She is innovative in bringing new products and processes to the business.’
Collaboration
The judges were impressed with Anna’s ‘demonstrable collaboration mantra’ and noted the respect she has built with colleagues across the team. The Electric Car Scheme highlighted the frequency of Anna’s nominations for its ‘Person of the Week’ scheme, saying that she ‘always get mentions and support for something amazing she has done.’
Innovation
The panel liked Anna’s innovative approach, noting that she has brought new technology and processes to The Electric Car Scheme. The nomination highlighted how Anna has led the way in designing new customer solutions – including taxation changes.
Customer focused
Anna was commended by the judges for her absolute focus on the customer. She was called out for going the extra mile for customers – even visiting customers at home to support them. The Electric Car Scheme said that Anna ‘genuinely delivers a five-star service to 100 per cent of customers, 100 per cent of the time.’ The judges commented:
‘Two promotions in two years – outstanding. Excellent customer focus as well as clearly supporting others in the team.’
“I'm so happy to have won the Rising Star of the Year Award! It's incredibly rewarding to see my efforts being acknowledged, and it motivates me even more to continue pushing boundaries and driving innovation in the industry.
