Electric Highway opens up
BRILLIANT and visionary when launched, more recently Ecotricity became a drag on EV expansion, ranked last in a Zap-Map customer survey at the beginning of the year. But that looks to change with the GRIDSERVE acquisition, which is backed by Hitachi Capital finance. And it must change to support the growing interest in EVs – and the increasing number of broker EV fleet sales. Otherwise users will be hampered by a disappointing charging network that fails to deliver on the zero emission revolution.
