PRESTON-based broker Cameron Clarke has agreed to sponsor Preston North End’s new signing Scott Sinclair.

The Championship club recently brought Sinclair to Deepdale from Celtic FC on a two-and-a-half year deal.

Sinclair, who takes the number 31 shirt, was a Scottish PFA  player of the year during his time with Celtic and was part of the club’s historic treble-treble.

Steven Clarke, director of Cameron Clarke, said:

“We have sponsored players in the past, and PNE approached us with the idea of lending our support to new signing Scott Sinclair.

“We’re delighted to do so. We’re a Preston-based company and supporting our local football team is good for the team and good for our presence in the local area.”

PNE manager Alex Neil told the club’s website:

“Scott is someone we have been interested in, and we have coveted before, and now that we have got him across the line, I am hoping that he will add that bit of quality and experience that we need.”

Preston North End currently sit at the top end of the EFL Championship table, just outside the play-offs.
