EXETER-based leasing broker, Carparison, has been named Best Automotive Company To Work For in the quarterly league tables devised by the Best Companies organisation.
Carparison was also ranked 17th Best Company To Work For in the South West region and finished 34th out of the top 100 across the UK.
The award is based on a series of staff surveys that measure staff engagement, satisfaction and development opportunities.
In addition, Best Companies commended Carparison on their use of a unique new-starter questionnaire. Issued to all employees before their starting date, it includes questions such as their preferred afternoon snack and favourite car. Answers are circulated among the existing team to provide conversation starters over that first cup of morning coffee, ensures new employees feel a sense of inclusion and value.
General sales manager Charlotte Channing-Jones said the appointment of a dedicated learning and development coordinator earlier in the year ensured company culture was continually developed while keeping employees up to date with the latest industry changes and sales techniques.

To accomplish such levels of success is a testament to the culture we have created across the business. We've always placed a huge emphasis on championing development within the team and valuing the thoughts and ideas of the people that make this the business it is day in, day out.
